We are based in Middlesbrough in the North East of England and our aim is to sell amazing budget pedals which would be cheaper than Amazon, eBay and even Ali Express. 

The idea started during lockdown when I was on Furlough. I had a lot of spare time on my hands and after building a bar and painting my garden fence, I started to get bored.

I’ve played guitar since I was 13 and always loved Slash and that 80’s Les Paul and Marshall tone. However, over the years could never quite get the sound I wanted.

So for years I’ve been buying pedals, selling pedals, switching from pedal boards to multi effects and couldn’t quite find the tone I was after.

Then after many years I realised I was simply not using my amp right, not using the pedals right and finally started to get close to the tone I was after. It was then I realised that an expensive pedal doesn’t necessarily mean a better pedal.

So I joined a few Facebook groups, Awesome Cheap Effects Pedals and Pedal Lunatics. I happened to notice the names Demonfx and Mosky popping up a lot and decided to look into them.

They had glowing reviews along with a bit of criticism for Demonfx, mainly for their pedal designs, but I was intrigued.

Unfortunately, no one in the UK or even Europe were selling them so I contacted Demonfx and Mosky to ask if they had any sellers near me. Turns out they’re the same company and that I could only buy their pedals through Ali Express.

I was very sceptical but pulled the trigger. I bought the Demonfx Prince of Sound, the Mosky Spring Reverb and the Mosky Super Rat…. and I absolutely loved them! It made me realise that there was a gap in the market and it got me thinking.

I contacted “Terry” at Demonfx again and asked if I were start a business, could I sell their pedals and how would we go about it. After a few discussions, I started to buy a few batches of pedals.

I had a lot to think about… which pedals would I sell, how would I sell them, how would I post them, what would I post them in, what about tax etc…

After almost a year of tweaking, trialling and getting the business model right, we started officially trading in June 2023.

We launched with Demonfx and Mosky, then shortly followed by Caline and JOYO.

Over the following months we gained more pedals companies, JSA Effects, MoVall, 4D Pedals, NU-X, Chord and also developed a better website and online shop.

We now sell many accessories and Amps and have become an “everything under one roof” online shop, where you can find all you would need to create your amazing and affordable pedal board. 

We have grown so much since the original idea and will continue to grow! We also encourage ideas and suggestions from our customers, after all, without you we can't function.
